Dress Code
Rockmount Golf Club subscribes to the codes for Standard of Dress recommendedby the Golfing Union of Ireland and the Irish Ladies’ Golf Union. While we wish all our Members and Visitors to feel comfortable, smart dress is required on the course and in the Clubhouse at all times. Golf Shoes are required anywhere on the course, including the practice putting green
The following items of dress are unacceptable at all times:
- Untailored shorts or sports shorts / tracksuit / leisure suit / shell suit tops or bottoms
- Football shirts
- Garments displaying prominent slogans
- Sweaters / sweatshirts without a shirt
- Sleeveless singlets or sun tops (sleeveless tops with collar are acceptable for women)
- Collarless shirts or T-shirts (collarless tops with sleeves are acceptable for women; crew-neck golf shirts are acceptable for all)
- Headgear is not permitted in the Clubhouse
- Any footwear worn on the course is not permitted in the Clubhouse (except in the locker rooms)

Directions to Carryduff from Dublin
Carryduff is about 100 miles (160 kilometres) from the center of Dublin. From Dublin or Dublin Airport, follow signs for Belfast. You should pass through the following towns in order Newry (60 miles), Hillsborough (85 miles), Temple (95 miles) (see map opposite)
Directions to Carryduff from Belfast
Rockmount is about 8 miles (50 kilometres) from the center of Belfast. From Belfast, follow signs for, Downpatrick, Saintfield and Crossgar. This will bring you onto the Saintfield Road which will take you to Carryduff.At the Carryduff roundabout follow the signs to Ballynahinch and Newcastle A24.
Approximately 1 mile from the roundabout you will notice Cyril Johnstons Tractors on your right, immediatly after this is the Drumalig Road on your left. Note the sign for Rockmount Golf Club which is 1 miles along this road on your left.
