As Captain of Rockmount Golf Club it gives me great pleasure to welcome you on behalf of the Gent’s Section to our website.
If you are a first time visitor this website offers just a taste of what Rockmount Golf Club has to offer. Please accept my warm invitation to pay us a visit, as that is the best way to experience and appreciate all the facilities the club has to offer. I am a founder member of the club and I am delighted to be the Captain in 2026. The course has matured fantastically over these years and is now a great test of golf and a delight to play. I look forward to meeting up with you at one of the many club and social events.
I would like to wish Alwyn and Noah the very best for 2026.
In closing, may I take this opportunity to wish all the members of the club an enjoyable year’s golf and every success in their respective club matches, GI and Cowdy inter club competitions.

As a founder member I am honoured and privileged to be the Captain of the Ladies Section of Rockmount Golf Club for 2025/26.
I look forward to upholding the reputation that Rockmount has for hospitality and friendship both on and off the golf course, as well as its strong competitive spirit in inter club matches in the gents’, ladies’ and junior sections.
It will be a pleasure to work closely with Captain Michael Carson and Junior Captain Noah Gillespie, supporting all of our teams, catching up with members on and off the course, and welcoming visiting teams, players and visitors to our lovely course and clubhouse.
I personally wish all the members every success in your golfing year ahead.

I begin my year as Junior Captain of Rockmount Golf Club with great pride and I am honoured to take on the role.
The junior section here at Rockmount is undoubtedly a very special one. I look forward and I am committed to fostering a positive environment and encouraging all our junior section to reach their full potential.
I especially look forward to working with captains Michael Carson and Alwyn Higham.
