Ladies’ Winter League Dinner

IMG_8940

Winter often seems long and the golf difficult. Playing off mats in cold weather wearing multiple layers of clothing summer seems a long way off. However, we know spring is on its way when the Winter League winds up and we have our Winter League dinner.

This year we had a great evening celebrating the success of the winning teams and individuals who managed to score well during season. And it was a opportunity to catch up with friends you haven’t seen since the nights drew in.

Winter league was cocktail themed this year and a glam bunch of ladies gathered for the evening. The room looked fabulous with beautiful floral arrangements provided by Ashley Poole and Pat Neeson. First we enjoyed Lady Captain Rosie’s choice of cocktails followed by a delicious meal then a cocktail-themed game of bingo proved to be a super, if raucous, entertainment.

There was an Easter family hamper raffle launched and that combined with the auctioning of a floral display earned some funds for the ladies’ club.
