The (hopefully) past winter seemed to be long and wet! It might have limited the rounds played but didn’t make our Winter League teams any less competitive.
The competition wound up and we said farewell to the season with a well attended Winter League dinner at the end of March.
The teams this year were named for European Ryder Cup courses and some teams went all out to embrace the theme. After presenting the prizes, our Captain, Alwyn, entertained the ladies with a Ryder Cup themed quiz – which was great fun. It was a lovely evening of catching up with friends we hadn’t seen over the winter and celebrating the success of the winning teams and individuals who managed to score well during season.
