Alwyn Higham’s Captain’s Day
The Ladies’ Club Captain’s Day was held on first Friday in July and was a super event enjoyed by club members, friends and family. It was also wonderful to see some of our retired members coming up to the club to wish Alwyn well.
Weather was dry and fine and every player enjoyed their rounds – regardless of result!
The dinner was a lively event with lots of chat about rounds played and potential winners. We didn’t have long to wait for the presentation of prizes and every winner received a fabulous prize based on the theme of the great outdoors, whatever the weather! Following prize-giving there was live music which, of course and as usual, filled the floor with dancers.
