Ladies’ Minor Cup Team are Regional Winners

Rockmount Ladies are Ulster South Champions and will be taking part in the all-Ireland finals! Our Minor Cup team played against Nuremore Golf Club in the regional final which was held at Lurgan Golf Club on Sunday 14 August. On  the day, the team of  Patricia O’Neill, Moyra Evans, Sue McDonagh, Alwyn Higham and Hilda Beamish had an exciting  and close match but eventually took the win 3-2. The team captain, Helen Setterfield and her squad will now take part in the all-Ireland finals series which will take place at Slieve Russell Golf Club between 7-9 September. Rockmount is scheduled to play its quarter final match against Munster West champions on morning of September 7, teeing off at 9.30.   The team would welcome supporters to come along.
