Joined Rockmount Golf Club in 2008 having played golf for 25 years previously at club level. Claims he is capable of beating most opponents on a good day but accepts that he usually ends up shaking hands around the 12th green! Thoroughly enjoys playing ‘mixed’ outings with the best putter in Rockmount (Bern told me to mention that) and looks forward to someday winning one of these events and getting our picture taken by Jonny Lath! Now retired after a long career in corporate and multi-national company development and, latterly, in the field of business development throughout Ireland and Internationally. Looking forward greatly to the 2019 season and being selected for the Veterans side – and coming down 1 shot.
Robert Patterson
Robert Patterson’s dream began in the early 90's when himself and his wife Diane decided to turn part of their farmland near Carryduff into an eighteen-hole championship standard golf course which would include a modern clubhouse with a top quality restaurant and bar facilities. Ladies Committee 2020

Jenny Bain
Lady Captain
Jenny has had the privilege and delight to be able to play for both the Challenge and Minor Cup teams in the ILGU interclub competitions. She loves nothing more than playing with her husband in the Mixed Competitions.
Elana Patterson
Lady Vice Captain
I joined Rockmount Golf Club in 2006 shortly after its 10th Anniversary. Younger members of the family were already playing in the Club so it was no surprise that I would follow in their golfing footsteps - albeit at a lower level of proficiency and with a significantly higher handicap!! Membership has afforded opportunities to enjoy Rockmount's beautiful landscape, excellent club-house facilities, to make new friends and, as my golf began to improve, to represent the club on Challenge Cup and Friendly Winter League teams. It has been a privilege to be joint-Captain of Friendly Winter League teams with Past Lady Captain Audrey Chambers and for two seasons to act as Secretary of STARS, the Society of Senior Lady Golfers at Rockmount set up by Christina Haycock.
Anne McShane
Past Lady Captain
Diane Patterson
Diane Patterson's and her husband Robert decided to turn part of their farmland near Carryduff into an eighteen-hole championship standard golf course which would include a modern clubhouse with a top quality restaurant and bar facilities. The club & course has gone from strength to strength and Diane is very much still involved in all club competitions including interclub golf teams

She played in practically every team in the Ladies club having joined as a 36 handicapper and today fail miserable at an 11 handicap. She has always found the club to be very competitive but friendly and She met many genuine people throughout the past 24 years and continue to play in the same four ball for the past 21 years because of the friendships She developed. She retired as a mental health nurse 11// 2 years ago and vowed to improve her game, but the truth is her game continues to require improvement and She is still working as hard as ever. Her job as competition and handicap secretary is to ensure that everyone in the Ladies Club enjoy fair and friendly competitions with a balance of qualifying and non-qualifying competitions. She enjoy this job no less so because of the great support She gets from all members of Rockmount Golf Club.
